When planning a trip to Iceland, Chinese citizens need to apply for visa well in advance.  All Chinese citizens are required to have Schengen visas when visiting Iceland.

The Icelandic Embassy in Beijing represents Iceland in visa matters in China; while the Royal Danish Consulates in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong represent Iceland in visa matters.  Applicants for visas to Iceland therefore can contact the Icelandic Embassy in Beijing or Royal Danish Consulates in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.

Flight Info

There are no direct flights between China and Iceland. However, travellers from China can find many European major cities for transit on the same day.

Travellers can find good connecting flights through major cities in Europe, including Copenhagen, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Helsinki . People can also travel to Iceland via flight from Baltimore, Boston, Cleveland, Minneapolis, New York and Orlando in America, and Vancouver and Edmund in Canada.
